Reducing remote telecommunications base station operating costs



The RedFlow T510 can decrease the daily running time of generators at off grid base transceiver stations (BTS), to reduce total running costs by up to 50% per annum.

With the increasing average cost of diesel worldwide, remote BTS sites powered by diesel generators are becoming more and more expensive to maintain. At the same time, the price of solar PV and other renewable generation is becoming more viable as an economic co-generation option.

The RedFlow T510 battery system connects to existing power systems at BTS sites, to store renewable energy when available and use the generator at full capacity to supplement the renewable generation. This significantly reduces generator running time, and realises total operating and maintenance savings of up to 50% per site.
