Operations

The company's operations centre includes equipment for development and medium scale manufacture of commercial products.  It includes an electronics test laboratory, chemical laboratory, machine tools, plastic extrusion and welding machines. RedFlow employs more than 40 staff, including over 15 engineers.

RedFlow's expanded Phase Two ZBM factory was officially opened by The Hon Andrew Fraser, Treasurer and Minister for Employment and Economic Development on August 10 2010.

This facility has the capacity to manufacture over 2 MWh/year of zinc-bromine battery system. This capacity is being fully utilised to meet current demand.

Large scale manufacturing will allow the full cost benefit of the zinc bromine battery to be achieved.
